A question in the deepest chamber that takes the entire series to become capable of answering. And Mars, at the end, growing slowly brighter in a viewport — because that’s what this species does. It reaches. It always has.

That’s the most honest thing you can say about it.

The story so far

Book 1 — The Architect — is in active production. Seven chapters and a prologue are drafted; the remaining eleven chapters follow a scene-by-scene outline. Publication will be digital-native, chapter by chapter, with every image, glossary entry, and piece of supporting material built into the site rather than bolted on.
